Chopard: partners the 1000 Miglia Warm Up Switzerland

The Maison continues to support the 1000 Miglia while extending its historical partnership with ‘the most beautiful race in the world’

Closely involved for over 35 years in the car race often referred to as ‘the most beautiful race in the world’, Chopard has now chosen to support the Swiss version of the famous Italian 1000 Miglia. The 1000 Miglia Warm Up, Switzerland testifies to event organiser 1000 Miglia Srl’s ambition to offer races complementing the historical rally, as well as to promote its expertise in new territories in order to meet the demands of gentlemen drivers the world over.

Chopard has been partnering the legendary Italian race since 1988, in probably one of the automobile industry’s most enduring partnerships and which has resulted in a collection of eponymous timepieces inspired by the world of classic racing: the Mille Miglia collection. 

The Maison fully supports the growth objectives of the parent organisation (1000 Miglia srl), which is why it has committed to serving as official partner to the 1000 Miglia Warm Up, Switzerland. This event will take place from May 30th to June 2nd 2024, with the aim of training teams in preparation for the Italian 1000 Miglia. The route will take in different regions of Switzerland, exploring the cultural riches of each area amid a warm atmosphere of camaraderie and competition. The race will feature a line-up of passionate enthusiasts driving classic cars built before 1976.

The four-day-long competition will culminate in the awarding of the Trofeo Chopard, with the winning crew receiving a very special edition of the famous Mille Miglia timepiece.
